Oprah and Nose operation in Iran: On a recent episode of her show, Oprah had a brief teleconference with a lady from Iran talking about nose plastic surgery in Iran. As you may know, cosmetic nose surgery has been increased dramatically in recent years. “Can you guess which country has been dubbed "the nose job capital of the world"? It's not image-conscious Brazil or even the United States. It's Iran—the conservative Muslim country with seemingly endless contradictions. In a place where women cover most of their bodies, business is booming for plastic surgeons—they're performing an estimated 60,000 nose jobs a year.” http://www.oprah.com/slideshow/oprahshow/20081024_tows_beauty/15 Here is a link to a CBS news about nose operation in Iran: < http://www.metacafe.com/watch/159871/nose_job_in_iran/> |
